Ward Mission Message:

Quote from M. Russell Ballard :  If we are going to fill the world with goodness and truth, then we must be worthy to receive inspiration so we can bless the lives of our Heavenly Father’s children.
I would encourage each of us to do our best to follow the Lord’s commandments so we will be bless with his spirit. Most importantly to pray and study the scriptures daily because this is how the Lord will give us the inspiration we need to help us share the gospel with those we come in contact in our life’s.   Bro. Ward Mission Message:

Never underestimate the power of an invitation, whether it’s an invitation to a church activity or a Sacrament meeting. Those who are seeking Him will recognize His Spirit in you and in His people.
And don’t give up! Continue to be a friend, continue to invite. Here’s a fun video of several Church leaders sharing their stories of how they were invited to Church. (You will find out how many times Elder Patrick Kearon was invited to be baptized!)

**Just a friendly reminder that we have pickleball happening at the stake center at 7:00 p.m. Thursday night. No need to be a pickleball pro. Just come and enjoy a night of ready-made competition. We'll be playing for the next three weeks at the stake center. Same time. Same location.

So here's the address: 3495 W 4850 South in Taylorsville. Don't be afraid to bring family members and friends. We'll have net space for everyone.

We sure love you! We're excited to spend an evening of pickleball adventures with you.

Ward Mission Message

I was impressed with B. Corey Cuvelier's talk about his great grandfather's life was changed forever when on the way to the pub found a church meeting and because of a humble branch president who helped him get a job and a place to live closer to the church so he and his family could continue to attend.  He and his family were baptized and the influence from that Branch President is felt 116 years later!  "There is a saying that you can count the seeds in an apple, but you can't count the apples that come from one seed."
We may think that we are not making much difference as missionaries, but one smile or  encouraging word can sometimes help someone to embrace the gospel.
