Counseling Notes:

Nov 9

Topic: How can we love and support each other while having healthy boundaries?

-A sister mentioned to always remember that we are all brothers and sisters.

-A sister said that while it is hard to not always know everything going on in other's lives, we can always send a message and just tell them we love them and we are thinking about them.

- A sister said we can always just ask "can I do anything for you?"

-President Unsworth also mentioned we should avoid gossip. That if we really want to talk about it that we shouldn't go to our neighbors to gossip but to go directly to the family. That it can be so easy to offend others by knowingly or unknowingly spreading incorrect information.

Jan Wheeler is collecting clothing, shoes, hats and jackets for youth and adults.  Let her know if you have anything so she can pick them up or arrange a time to drop them off at her home.

Tessie Edgar is collecting for the Murray Family Road Home homeless shelter.  Anything that can be used to set up a new apartment. IE: towels / tinfoil / extension cords.
With the opening of our new Family Interim Non-Congregate Housing facility (FINCH), we are asking for community donations of essential home items! Feel free to make kits or donate individual items. Thank you!
