August Newsletter

Counseling Notes:

Aug 24th

Topic: Stake self reliance courses are starting again next month, we asked for people who have taken the class to share their thoughts on their experience.

-One sister said each time she takes them she learns something new, so even retaking it is a great experience.

-One sister shared it was really nice to do it with your spouse and get onto the same page financially.

-One sister said she and her husband started the finance class and they both ended up losing their jobs, but having that class was a good help during that time and felt like it was needed.

-One sister said it was great to find others to talk about the topic together and make friends while learning something new.

-One sister said the finance class helps remind her of her priorities and what she really wants her money spent on.

-President Unsworth said she feels like these topics are so important for us sisters to have knowledge on and be ready when life throws challenges at us.
