October Newsletter

Counseling Notes:

October 12th

Topic: What did you learn from the spirit during General Conference?

-sometimes a sister feels like she's asking too much, but during conference she felt the response: study more, pray more, ask for more.

-a sister said it's so important for us to think of Heavenly Father as our father, and be familiar with Him

-so many talks had excerpts from what President Nelson has taught us and it was cool to see.

-Elder Holland had such a strong testimony that touched many, especially his strength in speaking of his testimony

-it was a good testimony at conference to know that even with President Nelson's death, all the keys of the Priesthood are still here and the church will go on.

Tessie Edgar is collecting for the Murray Family Road Home homeless shelter.  Anything that can be used to set up a new apartment. IE: towels / tinfoil / extension cords.
With the opening of our new Family Interim Non-Congregate Housing facility (FINCH), we are asking for community donations of essential home items! Feel free to make kits or donate individual items. Thank you!
