WARD MISSION MESSAGE

In the book by Clayton M. Christensen, he shares an experience about meeting people where they are that I would like to share with you:  On one Sunday Sister Virginia Perry, whose husband, L. Tom Perry, was a president of the Boston Stake, notices a woman who had quietly found a space on the back row in the chapel, having arrived a few minutes late for sacrament meeting.  She was wearing jeans and a T-shirt and had come on her motorcycle.  Sister Perry quickly sensed that the woman felt that she didn't fit in.  Everyone else was wearing their Sunday best and was sitting with their families.  So Sister Perry left her family alone, went to the back pew, and asked the visitor if she would mind if she sat beside her.  When the woman smiled in the affirmative, Sister Perry put her arm around her.  The next Sunday Sister Perry came to Church wearing levis and a T-shirt.

I testify that as we pray for help and guidance for our inactive or non members in our Ward boundaries, the Lord will guide them to us .... and He trusts us to do the rest.  (Brother Ken Stevens)

WARD MISSION MESSAGE

Quote from Elder Jeffrey R. Holland : "When the Lord delivers this person to your view, just chat- about anything. You can’t miss. You don’t have to have a prescribed missionary message. Your faith, your happiness, the very look on your face is enough to quicken the honest in heart. Haven’t you ever heard a grandmother talk about her grandchildren? That is what I mean-minus the photographs!  The gospel will just tumble out. You won’t be able to contain yourself!".
I encourage you to let your light shine and happiness and joy that you have in your life be radiant to the people you come in contact in your life.  Bro. Major
