Ward Mission Message

More than a hundred years ago in the British Mission, the Church was dealing with negative public opinion. The brethren sent instructions to the members of the Church saying, "In 1923 - every member of the Church will be a missionary. Somebody will hear the good message of the truth through you".

That is still the message for all of us today. But people don't just HEAR the good message from us, they also see our faith in Jesus Christ and watch how we treat others. May we truly try to "Walk with Christ daily" and emulate Him.

Bowling fees and shoe rentals are covered—no cost to you! Food will be available for purchase at the venue.

This conference talk given by Deiter F. Uchdorf reminds us that we should invite our friends and neighbors to join us at church:

It's important to remember that when most people experience the Church of Jesus Christ for the first time, they aren’t thinking about priesthood authority or ordinances or the gathering of Israel. What they’re likely to notice, above all else, is how they feel when they’re with us and how we treat each other.

“Love one another,” Jesus said. “By this all will know that you are My disciples.” Very often, a person’s first testimony of Jesus Christ comes when he or she feels love among disciples of Jesus Christ.                                 -Brother Ken Stevens
