Ward CALLings

Brenda Miller has been called as a Resource Center Specialist (She is working in the Ward Library)

STAKE FLOAT

The Stake Float is in the final stages now. This coming Tuesday and Wednesday between 6:15-8:30 pm should be a great time to help.   Click here to go to the stake Facebook page to check on the progress and see some pictures of the float.

The Float Committee is looking for any Primary and Youth who would be interested in being part of the Stake's float for Taylorsville Dayzz (Saturday, June 25th) and/or Days of '47 Parade (Saturday, July 23th).

There is a dress theme of all white clothing, or traditional cultural clothing. If your Primary child or Youth is interested, but does not have the specified clothing, please still send interest, we have Stake members that have clothing available for use.

Please send interest to either Christina Belcher clprattruby88@yahoo.com or John Lesko leskojohn@centurylink.net

RELIEF SOCIETY

Set a PHYSICAL goal in June that will improve your personal revelation by one percent!

If you have anything you want to give away, or if you're in need of something, please post it on our ward Facebook page - Taylorsville 23rd Ward-Inspiration, News, and Events.  Click here to go to the Facebook page.

Rides for Sudanese Branch

The sister missionaries from the South Sudanese branch are looking for people who would be willing to give a few members a ride to and/or from church.  We have a family of 10, a single friend, and a little 10 yr old boy.  If you would like to contact the sisters directly, their number is 801-919-6544.  It would not be a long-term commitment.
If you want, it could just be one week or it could be a couple.  Also if you can only do a one-way trip that would work too.  Any help is appreciated.  If you have other questions feel free to contact Sister Hughes at 801-671-3763.

TEMPLE & FAMILY HISTORY

There will be a Temple & Family History Meeting on June 21st at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.

"The ordinances of the temple and the covenants you make there are key to strengthening your life, your marriage and family, and your ability to resist the attacks of the adversary.  Your worship in the temple and your service there for your ancestors will bless you with increased personal revelation and peace and will fortify your commitment to stay on the covenant path." - Russell M. Nelson
