Harold B. Lee said, " All the work in the kingdom of God as a job is a drudgery, it's hard work - but as a calling, it's one of the most thrilling and rewarding activities in which men and women can be engaged. TEMPLE AND FAMILY HISTORY

My dear brothers and sisters, these are the latter days. If you and I are to withstand the forthcoming perils and pressures, it is imperative that we each have a firm spiritual foundation built upon the rock of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

The temple lies at the center of strengthening our faith and spiritual fortitude because the Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple.

WARD MISSION MESSAGE

It is so wonderful to witness a baptism especially a new convert. But is our work then done? Elder Holland reported Pres. Hinckley saying to the quorum of the twelve one day; "Brethren when my life is finished and the final services are concluding, I'm going to rise up and as I go by, look each of you in the eye and say, How are we doing on retention." Retention is vital in all of our lives. It is our responsibility to help others, (friend or family) in retaining their statice in the church. Baptism is wonderful but retention is causal. The savior said abide in me, meaning to stay, remain. Stay but stay forever. May we all abide in Him. Bro. Peck

I promise that as you increase your time in temple and family history work, you will increase and improve your ability to hear Him.
