sACRAMENT mEETING pROGRAM:
Brothers and Sisters,
It is that time of the year again to begin the declaration of your tithes. I would like to invite you to meet with me to declare your tithing status and make sure your contribution records are accurate. We will continue to hold these meetings through the fall. Please go to the following website to sign up for a meeting with me:

Please remember that this is for you as a family (including young children) to attend together, if possible. It is an opportunity to teach your children of the importance of tithing and perhaps an opportunity to strengthen the faith of each individual in your family. If you have any questions, please let me know.
The General Handbook says, “Tithes are holy to the Lord, and members honor Him by paying tithing. This is an expression of faith in God and His promises. Those who pay tithing receive this promise from the Lord: ‘Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it’ (Malachi 3:10).”
I look forward to meeting with each of you to discuss this important expression of faith.
Sincerely,
Bishop Kory Cox

Thought:
"At this joyful time of year, we are grateful to celebrate with you the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Although He was born in humble circumstances, He is the central figure in all human history. His mission affects all who have lived and will yet live. Through His Atonement and Resurrection, He did what we could not do for ourselves: overcome death and be reconciled to our Heavenly Father.
We testify that He is the Son of the Eternal Father, who “so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). We share our witness and knowledge of this most important gift and invite you to do the same this Christmas season."
