RELIEF SOCIETY:
It's Great to Be 8! -
We invite all children being baptized in 2025 and their parents to attend a "Great to Be 8 Baptism Preview". It will be held on Sunday, January 12th at 6:00-6:30 pm in the Relief Society Room in the Stake Center (the building by Arcadia Elementary). In the Taylorsville South Stake baptisms are coordinated separately by each ward and the families (not as a large stake baptism held monthly). This date needs to be arranged through the Bishop and then passed along to Sister Callaway and she coordinates with the Stake building person. Please try to attend as it relieves a lot of anxiety for the children and the parents to be prepared. What to expect at this Baptism Preview:
- Walk through the font and dressing area.
- Learn what happens at a baptism and welcome to being a new member of the ward.
- Show the baptismal clothing and tips about what to bring.
- What is the family responsibility?
- What is the ward responsibility?
- Baptism programs and paperwork, reserving the building, etc.
- Activity Days.
- Refreshments will be served.
