Sacrament Meeting Program: no meetings in the chapel Sunday the 6th.

General Conference 

Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice and Resurrection demonstrate His “greater love” for all God's children (see John 15:13). Because of Him, we can discover hope, peace, and the promise of eternal life. Feel the Savior’s love this Easter season by hearing His word as shared by prophets, apostles, and other Church leaders during general conference.

Ward Activities 

Taylorsville Utah South Stake:  We are putting together a stake choir for our upcoming conference in May. We are a super excited about the music. But we need YOU to give voice to those songs. To share your talent. To share your spirit. To share your love for the Savior.

If you would be willing to participate, please send me a quick email to say, "Count me in!" And if you're not sure, will you take 5 minutes and find a quiet place to ask Heavenly Father? You might just receive a call from Heaven. Then let me know. 

We'll be starting stake choir practice in two weeks. Here's the schedule:

• Sunday, April 13th — 3:00 p.m. in the stake center chapel
• Sunday, April 27th — 3:00 p.m. in the stake center chapel
• Sunday, May 4th — 3:00 p.m. in the stake center chapel
• Sunday, May 18th — 9:30 a.m. in the stake center chapel

We would LOVE to have you join. And youth are totally invited to participate too. Please let me know where your heart directs. I can promise a powerful spirit that will accompany this session as you participate.

Ward Mission Message:

In reading D&C section 29, it really impressed upon me the joy and happiness we can have in drawing close to the Savior and telling others the good news.

 Section 29 :1,2 Listen to the voice of Jesus Christ, your Redeemer! …who will gather his people even as a hen gathereth her chickens, even as many as will harken to my voice.

The Redeemer is a healer and fixer.  He is our advocate with the Father.   When hard times come, and they will.  We will be ok if we will draw close to our Savior

29:5 Lift up your hearts and be glad. For I am in your midst…it is His good will to give you the kingdom.

As member missionaries we have the joyful opportunity to declare this good news.

Temple & Family History 

 'Celestial Preparedness...1 temple at a time'

April 9th, 7pm, 23rd ward chapel

Please come to hear and see the amazing restoration of the Salt Lake Temple.

Brother Georges Bonnet, from the management team of the temple renovation project, will present a sneak peak of the ongoing and updated events of the historic temple and its current status.

This will be a wonderful event for your entire family to be able to see how the temple is being improved from the very depths to the top of Angel Moroni!
