Starting June 1st, our ward will be using the Gospel Living app as our primary communication tool.

• May 17th & 18th: Stake Conference.. see below! 
• Our beautiful Primary children will be singing TWO songs in Stake Conference!  Parents, please have your children at the Stake Center by 9:40 on Sunday morning and see below for all the details!  
• Temple Grounds Assignment - May 27-30, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, a few more people are needed for this assignment, please consider volunteering!  Contact Ed Denney at 801-671-5402 or Steve Richardson at 801-647-3693 to sign up.  

• Stake Temple Recommend Interviews are now available from 3:30-4:30 at the stake center every Sunday except Fast Sundays.

Ward Activities: 

Taylorsville Utah South Stake

In preparation, we invite you to join the stake presidency in the temple. We will be holding six special sessions in the Taylorsville Utah Temple to provide options for those who would like to attend. A member of the stake presidency will join each session. We invite you to schedule your appointment today — or as soon as possible — to make sure seats are available. We have about 30 spots per session.  Here are the dates: 

• 9:00 a.m. — Tuesday, May 13th
• 6:30 p.m. — Tuesday, May 13th
• 9:00 a.m. — Wednesday, May 14th
• 6:30 p.m. — Wednesday, May 14th
• 9:00 a.m. — Thursday, May 15th
• 6:30 p.m. — Thursday, May 15th

Stake Conference -

May 17, 7:00 pm Saturday Adult Session 
May 18, 10:00 am Sunday General Session 

Taylorsville Utah South Stake:  We are putting together a stake choir for our upcoming conference in May. We are a super excited about the music. But we need YOU to give voice to those songs. To share your talent. To share your spirit. To share your love for the Savior.

If you would be willing to participate, please send me a quick email to say, "Count me in!" And if you're not sure, will you take 5 minutes and find a quiet place to ask Heavenly Father? You might just receive a call from Heaven. Then let me know. 

We'll be starting stake choir practice in two weeks. Here's the schedule:

• Sunday, May 18th — 9:30 a.m. in the stake center chapel

We would LOVE to have you join. And youth are totally invited to participate too. Please let me know where your heart directs. I can promise a powerful spirit that will accompany this session as you participate.

Primary

Primary Stake Conference information - 

Our primary (along with all the other ward primaries) will be singing Gethsemane for the prelude at stake conference this Sunday, May 18 AND then Grateful Anyway during the actual Sunday morning conference (just our ward). Please have the children there by 9:40 am ready to go. All the other primaries will sing the prelude with us and go back to their parents throughout the audience. Our ward has saved/assigned seats since we're singing twice. These seats are the first two center rows in the stake center chapel and the first two rows on the east side of the chapel. Please feel free to sit there as a family or send one parental representative to sit with your child as we will be staying in those seats the entire two hour conference.  Questions? Give us a call

Please spend some time helping your children be familiar with the words. It would be sincerely appreciated.
