Bishop Cox would like to encourage members of the ward to participate in the building of the stake float. Click here to go to the stake Facebook page to check on the progress and see some pictures of the float. The Float Committee is looking for any Primary and Youth who would be interested in being part of the Stake's float for the Days of '47 Parade (Saturday, July 23th).
There is a dress theme of all white clothing, or traditional cultural clothing. If your Primary child or Youth is interested, but does not have the specified clothing, please still send interest, we have Stake members that have clothing available for use.
Please send interest to either Christina Belcher clprattruby88@yahoo.com or John Lesko leskojohn@centurylink.net
The stake has created a website that will have announcements from the Stake, Sacrament Meeting Zoom links, the Stake Facebook link, the Taylorsville Temple progress, and information for the Stake Youth. The address is www.tvillesouthstake.org
Rides for the Sudanese Branch
The sister missionaries from the South Sudanese branch are looking for people who would be willing to give a few members a ride to and/or from church. They have a family of 10, a single friend, and a little 10-year-old boy. If you would like to contact the sisters directly, their number is 801-919-6544. It would not be a long-tern commitment. If you want, it could just be one week or it could be a couple. Also, if you can only do a one-way trip that would work too. Any help is appreciated. If you have other questions, feel free to contact Sister Hughes at 801-671-3763.
