held on May 9th @ 7:00 p.m.  Bring a story or an interesting fact to share about your Great Grandma

TEMPLE AND FAMILY HISTORY

The next Ward Temple Endowment Night will be on Thursday, May 4th, 6:30 p.m. session.  Please make a reservation online to guarantee you have a seat. 

The Jordan River Temple will be closed on Monday, May 8th through Monday,  May 22nd. 

There will also be a Ward Temple Endowment Night will be on Thursday, June 1st, 6:30 p.m. session.  

The next Ward Night for Sealings will be on Thursday June 8th at 7:20 p.m.  Let Anthony Cruz know if you plan on attending (702-353-1785).

WARD CHOIR PRACTICE

Ward Choir practice will not be held until after May 14rh

STAKE CHOIR

A choir that will be singing two songs for the Sunday 10:00 a.m. session of Stake Conference on May 7th. If you have any questions contact Adam Cruz from the 11th Ward.

Relief Society

The lesson this week will be on 'Beauty for Ashes:  The Healing Path of Forgiveness' by Sister Kristin M. Yee taught by Sister Tessie Edgar. 

Sister's Temple Day  April 26th 2:00 p.m. Initiatory.  We are planning on going to lunch around 12:15 p.m.  We will be voting on where we will be going for lunch on April 26th during Relief Society on April 23rd.  Please note that April 26th is full and the sisters will also being doing Initiatory on April 28th.

Youth Fundraiser



Blood Drive 

There will be a blood drive on Thursday, April 27th from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the ward house.  A sign-up will be passed around during the 2nd hour classes.

Relief Society

This Saturday for all sisters 14 years and older are invited to attend the Relief Society Women's Conference.  It will be held at the Stake Center from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  A light lunch will be served.
Sister's Temple Days  April 21st 9:30 a.m. Endowment.  
We are planning on going to Subway at 5648 S. Redwood Road for lunch afterwards around 12:15 pm. All sisters are welcome to join us.

Mary Ellen Strong is still collecting plastic lids that will be used for prosthetics.

Youth Fundraiser

On Saturday, April 22nd the youth will be hosting a spaghetti dinner at 6:00 at the church.
There is a suggested Donation of – $10 per adult, $5 per child or $30 per family.  
Everyone is welcome to come whether or not they can donate.
This will be a fundraiser that will go toward young men's camp and young women's camp.

Invitation from Bishop Cox

The bishop has invited us to prayfully consider who you could invite to Easter Sunday.  As you focus on the Savior, this would be a great opportunity for those you care about to do the same.

Relief Society

Our monthly activity is on Tuesday, April 11th @ 7:00 p.m.  Let's get ready for the Temple!

Come over to the church on Wednesday, April 12th @ 10:00 a.m. to help out with our current service projects.  We're stuffing dolls, making plarn mats, and visiting, of course!
