Relief Society

The lesson this week will be on 'Beauty for Ashes:  The Healing Path of Forgiveness' by Sister Kristin M. Yee taught by Sister Tessie Edgar. 

Sister's Temple Day – April 26th 2:00 p.m. Initiatory.  We are planning on going to lunch around 12:15 p.m.  We will be voting on where we will be going for lunch on April 26th during Relief Society on April 23rd.  Please note that April 26th is full and the sisters will also being doing Initiatory on April 28th.

My Mom's Mom's Mom! will be the theme of our next Relief Society Activity held on May 9th @ 7:00 p.m.  Bring a story or an interesting fact to share about your Great Grandma

Mary Ellen Strong is still collecting plastic lids that will be used for prosthetics.

Youth Fundraiser

Blood Drive 

There will be a blood drive on Thursday, April 27th from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the ward house.  A sign-up will be passed around during the 2nd hour classes.

Temple and Family History

The next Ward Temple Endowment Night will be on Thursday, May 4th, 6:30 p.m. session.  Please make a reservation online to guarantee you have a seat. 

The Jordan River Temple will be closed on Monday, May 8th through Monday,  May 22nd. 

There will also be a Ward Temple Endowment Night will be on Thursday, June 1st, 6:30 p.m. session.  

The next Ward Night for Sealings will be on Thursday June 8th at 7:20 p.m.  Let Anthony Cruz know if you plan on attending (702-353-1785).

Ward Choir Practice

Ward Choir practice will be held on Sundays at 11:00 after church on the stage except for fast Sundays.  

Stake Choir

They are starting a choir that will be singing two songs for the Sunday 10:00 a.m. session of Stake Conference on May 7th. They are looking for all ages that want to come.  The chorister is Adam Cruz from the 11th Ward.  The practices will be held on April 23rd and April 30th in Stake Chapel from 3:00 - 3:45 p.m.

Building Cleaning Assignments

Here are the upcoming assignments for cleaning our building.  Please trade with another ward member if you have a conflict on your assigned date.  Contact Brother Elzinga if you have any questions.  Plan on 9:00 a.m. on Saturday unless told otherwise by your Team Leader.
