Self-Reliance Classes 

Self-Reliance classes will be starting in September.  
Possible classes will include: Personal Finances
                                                Finding a Better Job
                                                Emotional Resilience
The Stake needs to know which classes people in our area would be interested in attending so that they can get teachers for those classes. If you have any questions contact Jay Jorgensen at 801-450-1988

Tithing Declaration

September and October is the opportunity for Tithing Declaration
Please find a time that works for you and your family.

Relief Society

Sept. 9th  is National Day of Service. The RS will be cleaning the kitchen and having a food drive for our day of service.  Please meet at the church at 9:00 a.m. to help clean the kitchen, and bring some food to donate to the food drive!  The food drive will go from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.  Any service you can give will be appreciated!

Sisters that have volunteered to deliver flyers for the food drive please have them at the houses on your map between September 4-7th.

Sept. 10th we will be hosting another Munch and Mingle 3-5 pm for those sisters that were unable to come to the last one.



On September 12rh Relief Society will be combine with the Elder's Quorum for an Emergency Preparedness workshop.




There will be two opportunities to go to the Temple as sisters this month --

We will be doing a 1 pm Endowment Session on Sept. 19th and a 3pm Initiaroy on Sept 27th.
If you want to come, please schedule an appointment either on FamilySearch or the Church Website.

Mary Ellen Strong is still collecting plastic lids that will be used for prosthetics.

Temple and Family History

The next Ward Temple Endowment Night will be on Thursday, September 7th, 6:30 p.m. session.  Please make an appointment if you plan on attending.

Temple Sealings Sept 14th - 7:20 p.m.  session.  Contact Anthony Cruz (702-353-1785) if you plan on going and he will add you to the list.  

Blood Drive

On September 14th there will be a Blood Drive

Future Ward Activities

Please mark your calendars and join us for the following future activities hosted by the Ward Activity Committee:

Trunk-r-treat - Saturday, October 28th, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Christmas Party - Saturday, December 9th, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Stake Social

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming Stake Social on October 7th.

Ward Choir Practice

Ward Choir practice will be held on Sundays at 11:00 after church on the stage except for fast Sundays.  

Building Cleaning Assignments

Here are the upcoming assignments for cleaning our building.  Please trade with another ward member if you have a conflict on your assigned date.  Contact Brother Elzinga if you have any questions.  Plan on 9:00 a.m. on Saturday unless told otherwise by your Team Leader.
