March 25-31 (Individual Study)   Easter "He Shall Rise...with Healing in His Wings"

Ward Mission Message

As we move about in each of our daily lives, it is easy to get caught up in the rush to get things right now and how we expect them.  Some call it the McDonald's syndrome.  We need to examine how the Lord handles things.  He is much more patient with us in all things.  As such, we might need to accept a more deliberate approach in our missionary endeavors and realize we might be planting a seed that the Lord will nourish and bring to bear fruit as he sees fit.  Please just be his emissary and all will be fine. (Brother Garner)

I had the opportunity to go down to the Manti Temple open house this week with one of my sons that is less active and share my feelings with him. It is a beautiful temple and had such a feeling of peace and comfort that the spirit brought. March 18-24 (Individual Study)   2 Nephi 31-33 "This is the Way"

Ward Mission Message

I thought I would share with you counsel that Elder McConkie gave regarding missionary work that made me ponder about myself (Brother Peck):  "Perhaps what is wrong is that we have not desired in faith with all our hearts to bring souls into the kingdom. Perhaps we have not made up our minds that we can bring people into the church."

We need to convince the Lord that we want to bring others unto baptism then He will bless us in the work. I know that the Lord loves you and for all that you are doing.

“Our communities and our state are best served when a broad representation of Utah citizens fully engage in the election process through caucus meetings, primary and general elections, and other grassroots political activities. All are welcome to attend, and all will benefit from a wide variety of opinions and viewpoints.
“We urge you to be active citizens by registering, exercising your right to vote, and engaging in civic affairs, always demonstrating Christlike love and civility in political discourse in conversation and in social media outreach. Members should also study candidates carefully and vote for those who have demonstrated integrity, ability, and service to others, regardless of party affiliation.
“As an Area Presidency, we are concerned about the low voter turnout in the state of Utah. We plead with you to spend the time needed to become informed about the issues and candidates in this and every election cycle.
