Ward Mission Message

As we minister to our neighbors and friends, may our hearts turn to becoming a people like we read about in 4th Nephi 1:15:  “And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people.

Relief Society

The lesson this week will be from The Sealing Power by Elder D, Todd Christofferson and The Savior's Healing Power upon the Isles of the Sea by Elder J. Kimo Esplin.




Starting in February Sisters' Temple Day will be the third Tuesday of  each month. This will be sometime in the morning or early afternoon. We will be coordinating the time based on the sister temple workers in our ward. We will be doing Endowments for the first part of year. 

March's Sister Temple Day has been moved to March 26th 11 am Endowment.

The Women's Domestic Violence Shelter is in need of clothes or blankets or sheets or towels or anything that could be used by women and children leaving violent domestic situations, including women's and children's clothing.  Contact Michelle Peacock for more information.

Mary Ellen Strong is still collecting plastic lids that will be used for prosthetics.
Jan Wheeler is collecting clothing, shoes, hats and jackets for youth and adults.  Let her know if you have anything so she can pick them up or arrange a time to drop them off at her home.

Stake Women's Conference

All Women and Young Women 14 years and older are encouraged to attend this special conference.



Stake Food Drive

The Feed Utah Food Drive will be on Saturday, March 16th.  Please leave your donations outside your door before 9:00 a.m.

Starting in February, subscriptions to Church Magazines are available at no cost.  Please click here for more information.

Temple and Family History

The next Ward Night for Sealings will be on Thursday, March 14th at 7:20 p.m.  Let Anthony Cruz know if you plan on attending (702-353-1785).

There is an opportunity to clean the Jordan River Temple on Tuesday, March 19th from 10:30 p.m. - 12:20 a.m.

Taylorsville Temple Open House

The open house for the Taylorsville Temple will be held from April 13th through May 18th.  The temple will be dedicated on June 2, 2024.  Reservations are now available for the open house.  Click here for more information.  

Ward Choir Practice

Ward Choir practice will be held on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. after church on the stage except for fast Sundays.  They will be practicing for the Easter program.

Building Cleaning Assignments

Here are the upcoming assignments for cleaning our building.  Please trade with another ward member if you have a conflict on your assigned date.  Contact Brother Elzinga if you have any questions.  Plan on 9:00 a.m. on Saturday unless told otherwise by your Team Leader
